Beware! True Yoga - on misplacing consumers trust!
In my first visit to True Yoga, my friend and I were invited for a lst trial lesson with TY on 8th May 2008. After the lesson, we were persuaded to join the membership (24mth+6mths = $99/mth).
In amidst of negotiation on the package, the agent mentioned that she is unfamiliar with the credit card payment process and will need to check with her supervisor, Adrian. She requested for us to produce our credit cards to check on the suitability of the cards on installments plans available. Little did we know that they came back to us, credit cards were already swiped with transaction receipts. At one-time, when my friend left the seat to answer her phone, he even mentioned that my friend has agreed to the plan and asked me to sign first. After verification with my friend, she did not even agree on the plan. We left as we are dismayed with the service. I received a sms notification from the agent 2 days later that the credit card payment will be processed even though I did not sign on the transaction slip. The complicated matter arises when they informed us that we have to go down personally to the TY@ Pacific Plaza to cancel the credit card payment though the transaction receipt was not signed at all. Also, the whole process will take for 2-3 weeks to cancel the payment.I strongly urge that people should be more alert on the possible scams that these sales people go to the extent of clinching their deals. Well...talk about "True" colors...
